I am a beginner again. As I navigate my fifties, I find myself in an unexpected place, a stage that feels both exhilarating and frightening. It’s a strange sensation, very much like being an adolescent once more, discovering the world and my own potential within it. Each morning, I wake up with a sense of restlessness, often tossing through the night as my mind races with thoughts and dreams. It feels as though something profound is on the verge of unfolding, yet the exact nature of that revelation remains just out of reach.
I jump from one project to another, driven by a sense of urgency, as if time is slipping through my fingers. I am a wanderer at heart, moving from place to place, driven by the anticipation of discovering something new, something that speaks to my soul. In this raw, messy phase of my life, I sense that beauty is about to emerge. Each turn in my path reveals fresh insights, new opportunities, and an ever-deepening understanding of life and myself.
Along the way, I found these wise words that perfectly capture what I’ve been experiencing:
The purpose of life is to discover your gift.
The work of life is to develop it.
The meaning of life is to give your gift away.
- David Viscott -
Now that I have emerged from the messy middle,
I have discovered my gift in life…
My purpose is clear…
I am ready to share my gift with you…
The journey is ongoing, and while the road ahead may have many turns and potholes, I am filled with anticipation and excitement. With each step, I am discovering that the beauty of life lies not just in the destination but in the journey itself.
So, join me to embrace the jewel within you and discover the treasures that await. Let’s turn messiness into a NEW BEGINNING!
